Bunsen in the Rain

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.  Last weekend was a real bummer.  Rain and then ice and then snow.  Had get my walk-walks in, though.  Sorry, humans.

 This coat from Land's End is a waterproofed polyester blend.  The velcro on the straps is chafing, I find, and so I can not recommend it.  Also, Audrey's chest strap wore completely off after one season of use.  I have to say that this was a very disappointing purchase by my Gram Grams.

Even after continued taunting and requests, Audrey refuses to give up the layered look.  How can I be seen with such an unfashionable sister dog in public?

Bunsen's New Threads

I'm feeling pretty special in my new Penn State coat made especially for me...sort of. It's extremely flattering, I must say. It's warm but not waterproof. I like the soft fleecy-ness of it, but I worry it might not wash well. It already is pilling and getting scruffy. But I'll wash it in gentle cycle and either tumble dry on low or hang to dry.

Audrey is wearing a double-layered Martha Stewart-brand quilted down polyester coat on top of a orange Land's End waterproof raincoat. I personally think it clashes, but some might say it's quirky.

Bunsen Reviews All Things DOG

Hello spring, 2011 New Media SU students! In a spirit of solidarity with you, I have chosen to make my posts more themed for a few months. I will review all things dog. Since I'm a dog, this should be pretty easy--and fun. I have a lot of opinions about stuff.

Here, in this pic, you see that Audrey is wearing her quilted polyester Martha Stewart jacket and it fits her beautifully. The red color suits her snazzy personality. I like using Audrey as a pillow. NO, we're not a couple. That's gross, people.
